OVERVIEW

Mt Elizabeth Station is about as close to the heart of the Kimberley region in Western Australia as you can get.

Located halfway between Kununurra and Derby on the iconic Gibb River Road, Mt Elizabeth is a half-million acre, fully operational cattle station that also welcomes guests. Join us at MtE on your journey through the Kimberley. We offer accommodation, camping, delicious meals, and authentic station life.

MtE is owned and operated by the Burton family, who have been Kimberley pastoralists for over thirty years. Mt Elizabeth runs approximately 6000 head of cattle for the family business, the Burton Beef Company, which supplies delicious Kimberley beef to the local area. Our beef is the highlight for dinner when you stay with us at Mt Elizabeth.

With fantastic Kimberley history and all the excitement of a working cattle station, the Burton family welcomes you to enjoy their slice of the Kimberley.

Supplier inclusion
Gorge Access - There are two beautiful gorges on the property to swim, take in the natural environment, and explore. Both have restricted access times so guests are advised to arrive early and enquire directly with reception to ensure access is available. A Station Pass is required to access the gorges and other attractions on MTE. High clearance 4WD is required to access the gorges and knowledge of using low range 4WD. Please note access to gorges is dependent on track conditions after each wet season.

Meals - All meals must be pre-booked at time of booking including any dietary requirements.
Mt Elizabeth does not sell or serve alcohol. You are welcome to BYO.
