Renovation
The Kimberley Pool will be closed from the 12th January to the 27th March 2026. The Ocean Pool will be inclusive of all ages during this period.

The Cable Beach Precinct, renowned for its pristine sands, turquoise waters and iconic sunsets, is currently undergoing a remarkable transformation as part of the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment. Managed by the Shire of Broome, the project is divided into stages and precincts.

Stage 2 has commenced and involves remodelling of the Amphitheatre space and car park in front of the Resort for a 12-month duration. This area will be temporarily closed to the public however the beautiful Cable Beach remains open via an accessible entrance in front of the Surf Club.
Whilst the redevelopment aims to transform the Cable Beach Foreshore into a globally recognised waterfront precinct, the project may impact your upcoming stay. Broome Shire have confirmed all works will only take place during daylight hours (7am - early evening).

What to expect during your stay in Suites, Oceanside Studios and Club Apartments:
•   Work Schedule: Construction is scheduled from 7am – early evening
•   Noise Impact: Due to the proximity of the Suites, Oceanside Studios and Club Apartments to the project, you may experience some noise during daylight hours.
•   View Obstructions: While Oceanside Studios / Suites still offer partial water views, construction activity may be visible from your room.

Although the Foreshore Redevelopment is an external project beyond the Resorts control, we have remained in close contact with Shire of Broome to be able to share information with our guests.
While the beautiful beach will remain open throughout the project (with works occurring from the dunes and green space above the beach), we recognise the potential impact on the guest experience and in response, we have focused on refurbishing Resort facilities, prior the 2025 season. This includes enhancements to the Kimberley Pool, Cichetti and new venues. We appreciate your understanding as these enhancements take place and remain committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.
