Includes: Private truffle farm tour, and hunt (with dogs) with tastings, farm/producer visits (2) tastings (food and/or wine), morning or afternoon tea/coffee.
Product Itinerary
Tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers for the tour to commence. Maximum number per tour is 7 passengers.

Duration: 4 hours in total, Truffle Tour is one hour.

Immerse yourself in an intriguing truffle experience during the cooler winter months of June, July and August.
These unique truffle tours not only provide the opportunity to witness truffle hunts first-hand but also include walks through the picturesque truffle orchard (trufferie), along with interactions with the truffle dogs, opportunities to dig up truffles and enjoy tastings of this unique French Black Truffle, also known as the Perigord Truffle.

A truffle hunt experience includes putting on your boots and warm jacket and following the farmer and dogs for a walk into the truffle orchard. Here learn about what a truffle is, their history and the relationship between the truffle and the tree, walk with the dogs and witness their hunting technique, learn how to check and harvest the truffle, rounding up the experience by tasting the truffles back in the warm farm shop with a delicious hot beverage.

The remainder of your day tour also includes visits to other producers to indulge in locally produced gourmet delights, as well as bespoke wine tastings at a few of the many incredible cellar doors in the Margaret River Region. or around the Southern Forests Region.

NOTE: All participants must be fit and able to walk unaided for a minimum of 2km. Closed-in water proof shoes and a warm waterproof jacket are essential. This tour operates during the winter months, please check the weather report and dress accordingly. You will be asked to participate in bio-security practises to protect the truffles.
Operating dates may vary by season and truffles cannot be guaranteed.
